As soon as I opened my doors at noon after returning from Golden, I heard a White-throated Sparrow chip from my patio! There it was, hopping in the leaves scratching for seed. This is a first for my property here. It moved around in front a few minutes ago and scratched under another feeder, but now I do not see or hear it.
