The best viewing area for the Tundra Swan in still the North side as of about 4PM. In the two hours I spent at Standley Lake today, the swan never strayed too far south. The highlight from the south end was a Red-breasted Merganser. Best loon-viewing is the NW corner. There were at least 5 loons present. They all appeared to be Common.
On a side note, I'd like to thank all the birders who have graciously allowed me to peak through their scopes in the past. I have one arriving tomorrow. Thanks again!
