Hi COBirders, There were 3 Surf Scoters at Elevenmile Reservoir (Park County) this morning off of Howland Point. There was one Black Scoter off of Lazy Boy(?) access.
Also there were 5 swan species at Spinney Mountain Reservoir when I first arrived, but they had left when I looked again around 10:30 AM. On my way back to Durango there were several small flocks of Sandhill Cranes in various fields in Alamosa and Rio Grande Counties as I approached Home Lake (Rio Grande).
