Hello, Birders. Hannah and Andrew and I visited various Boulder County reservoirs yesterday, Thursday, November 11th. Great weather! Seriously, I mean it. Anyhow, here's what we found:
Six Mile Reservoir. 15 Red-breasted Mergansers. Boulder Reservoir. 34 Lesser Scaup, 1 Red-necked Grebe, 1 light-morph adult male Rough-legged Hawk. Lagerman Reservoir. 1 Common Loon. McIntosh Reservoir. 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Common Loon, 22 Eared Grebes, 1 Horned Grebe, 40+ Bonaparte's Gulls, 1 Brown Creeper, 1 Bill Schmoker. While on playground duty, I thought I heard Evening Grosbeaks in the distance, but I'm not certain. Prince Lake No. 2. 1 adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, 3 Herring Gulls. ------------------------------- Ted Floyd Editor, Birding Blog: http://tinyurl.com/2g2staq Twitter: http://tinyurl.com/2wj9djj Facebook: http://tinyurl.com/2wkvwxs ------------------------------- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
