Hi

Today Bob Andrews and I spent the day at Cherry Creek Res., where Don Beltz
briefly joins us. We tallied up 53 species.
Highlights

Immature Tundra Swan in the south end.

Red-throated, Pacific, and Common Loon seen from the east side.

Harlen's Hawk was seen at the intersection of E Lakeview road and the road to
boat ramp. We deemed the hawk was a 98% field guide depiction of a classic
Harlen' s Hawk. When the hawk flew and fully spread its whitish tail we could
detect a slight rufous tone near the end of the tail, also there was a slight
rufous wash on it's wing coverts when the hawk was perched.
