A northern saw-whet owl - adult - just flew into my neighbor's window.
Stunned a bit, but flew off after 20 minutes.

 

She has quite an active feeder system, so perhaps it was hunting birds. But
just curious about it being out and about around 10:45am in clear skies and
bright light. Would it be hunting, migrating; or perhaps just roosting daily
in one of her spruces and thought it would make a stab at a quick meal.
