My wife Laura and I left Cherry Creek State Park about 45 minutes ago shortly
after 2:30 p.m. and the gull was still there. It takes some patience to see it
well because it is usually quite a ways out. It didn't stay on the water long
but was mainly flying low over the water in a swooping flight. I found the
wedge-shaped tail somewhat difficult to see with these old eyes but did finally
get some decent looks. Thanks for those who helped Laura and I get on the
gull.

If the bird was also seen this afternoon, could people please update the list.
I would like to chase this bird tomorrow (and I am sure other people will as
well), and it would be nice to know if the bird remains most of the day or if
it has taken off for parts unknown at some point.

Hi Birders,

I expected someone else to post about the Ross's Gull so I didn't, but now I
shall. The bird was seen from Lake Loop by me personally for about an hour.
When I left it was still being seen. Once the fog burned off (i got there at 7
& it happened around around 9-930) was when we finally got word where it yes.
Huge thanks to Joe & everyone for gettin the word out yesterday!!
