Not a rarity, but as I returned from Cherry Creek I spotted about 75 Snow Geese flying over SW Longmont likely right over Schmoker's house at around 3:30 pm. Generally we don't see large flocks of this species in Boulder County. Looks like they might have come from McIntosh Res. directly north of my house as the goose flies. A few Cacklers were with them.
