My family and I spent the last week at our cabin off CR-41 in Grand County,
near the town of Grand Lake. We saw on two separate occasions 2 Northern
Pygmy-Owls. In the 22 years we have been going up there we have never seen
Pygmy-owl, though we have heard Boreal and Saw-Whet. Seems like there are many
more posts this year about these little guys, hope that means the population is
doing extremely well!
