Birders, Today, Tammy and I lead a DFO field trip to Pueblo. The best birds were:
1 Common Loon (at the dam) 1 Great black-backed Gull ( south marina) 1 Lesser black-backed Gull (west of Fisherman's Point) 1 Male Long-tailed Duck (just west of Fisherman's Point) The wind was horrendous most of the day to the point that we were unable to find Scaled Quail or CB Thrasher in Pueblo West. On the same subject, one of the big Cholla's that the quail like has been torn out. It was on Harmony south of Brandon's.
