I saw a Brant today at the northwest side of the lake behind the Lakecrest @ Gateway apartments in Denver (80239). For the record, I did not find it, there was a gentleman there who was obviously a birder with a Swarovski spotting scope set up. I approached saying "Hello, did you find the Brant?" just to make conversation. He stated that he had spotted it from the other side but came over to the (east) side to get a better look because of the sun. As I was about to walk away, he said he saw it and asked if I wanted to see too. "Of course!" I said... after several attempts of trying to spot it and failing (the lake was THICK with Canadian geese) I finally saw it, a Brant clear as a bell ! Unfortunately I had to leave in a hurry and didn't catch his name, only that he had come in from Fort Collins.
