Hi cobirders. Sunday just before noon when I got home there was a male Sharp-shinned hawk looking in the Kitchen window from the Chokecherry tree nearby. It kept opening its mouth several times. Too small for Coopers with a few white patches on its gray blue back. Lots of
horizontal brown stripes on white breast. square tail.
Great looks didn't stick around for a picture!

When there are no birds around I thinks the hawks are up on the roof where I can't see them.
