Hello COBirds,

If you're ever in the area of Parker Regional Park, it is worth
stopping by for some casual bird watching. What I like about it is it
offers great variety birds and most water fowl in the pond can be
easily seen with ordinary binoculars. This lends itself to
opportunities for the whole family if you don't have a telescope.

When looking through pictures of the Ross's Gull at CCSP by Glenn
Walbek, I noticed he has a very nice picture of the two Long-billed
Dowtichers that spent about three weeks in fall 2010 at the Parker
Regional Park pond. This photo in his collection can be seen at
http://www.pbase.com/gwalbek/image/129997269.

I gathered together video and photos of these two birds and posted
them on YouTube should anyone be interested. It was from the period
of October 17th and 18th, 2010. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukAFikzKa1U
