Hello, I met up with austral migrant Andrew Spencer for the day and we birded a bit around Boulder & Weld Counties. Highlights:
Union Reservoir (Weld County) --Black-legged Kittiwake juvenile still present, showing nicely from the SE corner --Red-necked Grebe -- 1 probably first-winter bird, visible from the SE corner various other birds, including 10+ Bonaparte's Gulls, but we couldn't pull out the Long-tailed Duck. Allenspark, Fawn Brook Inn feeders (Boulder County) --no rosy-finches or grosbeaks in a brief stop; just juncos, nuthatches, siskins, goldfinches, and Clark's Nutcracker Good birding, Nathan Pieplow Boulder -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
