Adams County:
--At Barr Lake on December 14, Henwood reported a 1st-cyc Glaucous Gull and 2 
ad Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
 
Arapahoe County:
--At Cherry Creek State Park on December 9, Walbek reported a 1st-year ICELAND 
(Kumlien's) GULL, 2 MEW GULLS, and a Lesser Black-backed Gull. 
On December 12, Alcock reported ICELAND GULL and Lesser Black-backed Gull at 
Cherry Creek and Komar reported 3 Thayer's Gulls and 1 MEW GULL.
On December 14, Righter reported Lesser Black-backed Gull and a lst-year 
ICELAND/Thayer's Gull at Cherry Creek.  On December 16, Andrews reported that 
the ICELAND GULL was still present.
 
Bent County:
--2 Dunlin were reported by Duane Nelson at the west end of John Martin on 
December 14.
 
Boulder County:
--An ad TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Gent at the Valmont Power Plant on November 
25 and was seen again by Kaempfer on December 12
--A female/imm Black Scoter was reported by Kaempfer at Baseline Reservoir on 
November 28 and was seen again on December 12 by Nunes.
--A White-winged Scoter was reported by Frye and the Roadcreepers at Baseline 
Reservoir on December 8 and was refound by Nunes on December 12.
--A Winter Wren was reported by Gent on the north side of the bridge over St 
Vrain Creek between 61st and 63rd St in North Boulder County on December 12.
This was where the 2 stub-tailed wrens were last winter.
  
Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--A fem/imm Surf Scoter was reported by Kellner at Chatfield on December 12.  
It was best seen from the Fox Run parking area.
 
El Paso County:
--On December 4, Dan Maynard reported the following birds at the north end of 
Fountain Creek Regional Park south of the sewage ponds:  male PINE WARBLER, 
Winter Wren, "red" Fox Sparrow, and Ovenbird.  An ad Harris's Sparrow was 
reported by Dan Maynard near Rice's Pond on December 4.   On December 14, 
Percival reported that the Fountain Creek CBC had PINE WARBLER, Winter Wren, 
Harris's Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow.
 
Garfield County:
--2 Long-tailed Ducks were reported by McConnell at Rifle Gap on November 28 
and were seen again on December 7 by Filby along with 2 Barrow's Goldeneyes.  
On December 11, McConnell reported that the 2 Long-tailed Ducks were still at 
Rifle Gap.
 
Jefferson County: 
--On December 12, Sanders refound Harris's Sparrow, GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW, and 
White-throated Sparrow and reported that others saw the Curve-billed Thrasher 
at Red Rocks Trading Post.
 
Lake County:
--On November 6, Kalbach reported 2 TRUMPETER SWANS at the extreme western end 
of Twin Lakes and on November 19, Kalbach reported that a TUNDRA SWAN and 
joined the TRUMPETERS.  On December 11, Kalbach reported that there are now 3 
TRUMPETER SWANS and 1 TUNDRA SWAN at the western end of the eastern lake.
 
Mesa County:
--A TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Arnold at Highline Lake SP on December 9.
 
Otero County:
--On the Rocky Ford CBC on December 15, Percival reported 2 INCA DOVES, 
White-winged Dove, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Swamp Sparrow, Harris's Sparrow, 
and White-throated Sparrow.
  
Pitkin County:
--Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches were reported by Filby on December 9 at Snowmass at 
Elk Camp Wildlife Cabin and Top of Sam's Knob.  For non-skiers, one can access 
the feeders at Snowmass by purchasing a foot passenger ticket for $29/day and 
$5 will be refunded when you turn in your pass.
  
Routt County:
--Bohemian Waxwings were reported by Litteral on the south side of Steamboat 
Springs on December 10.
 
Washington County:
--A LAUGHING GULL was reported by Wilbering at Prewitt on December 15.
  
Weld County:
--At Union Reservoir:
----On December 4, Floyd reported 1 juv BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE and 2 ad f 
Long-tailed Ducks.  The ducks were in the SW corner.  On December 5, Deininger 
reported that the BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE was still being seen and Nunes 
reported 1 young f Long-tailed Duck.  Guarente refound the BLACK-LEGGED 
KITTIWAKE at Union Reservoir on December 12.
----On December 14, Prather reported Red-necked Grebe and Long-tailed Duck at 
Union Reservoir.
----On December 15, Pieplow reported BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE and Red-necked 
Grebe at Union Reservoir.
 
No field trips scheduled for the rest of the year.  Help with a Christmas Bird
