Yesterday afternoon while walking my dog in the former campus of
Western Bible Institue in the Willow Springs area I spotted some
Eastern Bluebirds with at least three males out of the group of five.
Last I saw them, they took off flying as a group to the south. Willow
Springs is about 3 miles south of Red Rocks at the base of the
foothills. Seems pretty late for Eastern Bluebirds.
