A couple of days ago, while scouting for tomorrow's Pueblo Christmas Bird
Count, Van Truan and I went to Roselawn Cemetery in Blende, Pueblo County, and
there were quite a few Eurasian Collared-Dove feathers on the ground.  There
was a Sharp-shinned Hawk eating on something in the tree above the feathers.  I
know both Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawks, as well as Merlin are regular in
this cemetery, and there are usually hundreds or thousands of Eurasian
Collared-Doves roosting in there.  I would guess these raptors are eating on
these doves.
