Yesterday about 8:40 AM during our Loveland CBC, Kathleen Dowd and I found a
Varied Thrush in a Russian Olive thicket on private property less than a 1/4
mile east of my home. It flushed low onto a branch above our heads a bit -
enough for me to have a fantastic look. Unfortunately, my camera was in my car.
Then the bird flew across the driveway back into deep cover and we could not
relocate it. This location is surrounded by private property.
