Yesterday while walking through the Timnath Wal-Mart parking lot (intersection of I-25 and Harmony) I heard a bird flying over that I had recognized, but only heard once or twice before. It immediately came to me that it sounded like some Common Redpolls that Joey Kellner and I heard a few years ago at Jumbo Reservoir. After getting home late last night I listened to recordings on xeno-canto.org and found the call, which is how Joey and I got positive ID on the birds a few years ago. Cole Wild Loveland
