Hi all,
A short drive around the neighbourhood before the threatened snowstorm revealed a few nice birds this Sunday lunchtime.. best were 7 Hooded Mergansers (Ranch at Roaring Fork) 11 Barrow's Goldeneyes on Roaring Fork river - viewed by looking downstream from the CR100 (Catherine Store road) bridge 2 American Dippers - from same road bridge Rough-legged Hawk CR113 Northern Shrike CR100 / CR103 junction also Golden Eagle CR13 Upper Cattle Creek (which is appropriately enough across the line - in Eagle County!) There were scores of American Robins in Upper Cattle Creek and Coulter Creek - taking advantage of the mild weather and relative lack of snow in the valley floors. Good birding all Dick Filby Carbondale -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
