This morning, Tom Pollock and I headed west of Sedalia looking for Three-toed 
Woodpeckers.  After an extensive search, we were able to locate a gorgeous 
male.  The woods were very quiet, with only a couple of Mountain Chickadees, 
two Townsend's Solitaire, and the Three-toed Woodpecker.  On the way up Highway 
67, we did see 10 Wild Turkeys right of the road.  Photos of the Three-toed can 
be seen in the rare and uncommon gallery below.
