Hi all who get to go to Red Rocks. I am fortunate to live only 20
minutes away. PATIENCE is best.
The winter staff don't seem to have the snack bar operating but they
can make hot chocolate and
coffee. The back porch is open after 9AM It is a Colorado Welcome
Center too. Earlier and any
time you can go to back of the building where the bird s hang out.
The birds come and go very often and largely ignore the people. Even
children!
It is hard to get mad at the Scrub Jays they take over but are
beautiful and rarely stay long.
Some of the rare ones we like to see are often reluctant to come out
but eventually do. PATIENCE!
