Scheduled Programs and Events:

Tues. January 25: Bill Schmoker, "100 Years of Boulder Christmas Bird Counts"

When Norman Betts sallied forth alone on Boulder's first Christmas
bird count on a December morning in 1911, he saw only 25 species,
including no ducks or geese. Now Boulder Christmas bird counts average
more than 120 participants and more than 100 species. Learn about
these and other fascinating changes, including impacts of urbanization
and global warming, from count-coordinator Bill Schmoker.
