About 15-20 hearty souls ventured out from Nunn Cafe to experience the Nunn "hurricane" (35-40mph??) to look for raptors along Raptor Alley. Low on numbers but species count high!
Long-eared owl - 1 Merlin - 1 Loggerhead Shrike - 1 (108/37 "resident" two winters in a row now) Red-tailed Hawk - 3 Great Horned Owl - 1 Golden Eagle - 4 Rough-legged Hawk - 1 American Kestrel - 4 Northern Harrier - 5 Ferruginous Hawk - 2 Cedar Waxwing - small flock Common Raven - 1 Townsend's Solitaire - 1 Dark-eyed Junco - 1 Winter usuals ... Bald Eagle - 1 (wooden-"inside joke"-haha!)
