I was out on north 35th Street in Greeley along the Poudre Trail and there were common goldeneye and ring billed gulls in the open water on the pond to the west. I walked about a quarter of a mile west to the next ponds and there were two mute swans among hundreds of cackling geese and some mallards and coots in the open water to the south of the trail. To the north, there was 1 mute swan among all the cackling geese. I also saw a couple of kingfishers and a flock of white crowned sparrows. Rick Reeser Greeeley
