The highlight of an otherwise unspectacular day birding Saturday was a FOY Great Horned Owl on the nest on the southeast side of I-76. At 65 mph it was hard to pinpoint the location - somewhere east of the 88th St exit. The only other surprise was a Mountain Chickadee at Barr Lake SP.
