Went down to the Platte at Florida St. Friday, looking for the reported Long-tailed Duck. Thought I'd found it, but now that I look at the photos, I think it's a molting or juvi Pintail. See what you think. There was a beautiful male Common Mergansers, Hooded Mergansers, Green-winged Teals, Buffleheads, Mallards, Coots, and Gadwall. Also several Killdeer running around on the sandbars.
