CO birders :
 
      As reported earlier , the DFO trip today  found a Pine Warbler ( 
probably an immature male ) along the Bluff Trail access  from Sells Lake trail 
head off Street 9 , Canyon City this morning . The bird  was observed in a 
mixed flock of chickadees , siskins , finches and juncos  on the south side 
of the trail high up on the cliff face close to a bird  feeder about 200 
yards east of the trail head. Photos were obtained for  documentation.
 
Other birds of interest seen around Canyon City were Canyon Wren at  Tunnel 
Drive , Juniper Titmouse and Sage Thrasher at Temple Canyon Park ,  
Bewick's Wren , Curve-billed Thrasher , Say's Phoebe , Scaled Quail at the 
brush  
piles off Mackenzie Avenue.
 
Lewis's Woodpeckers were seen at Turkey Creek Recreational Area , El Paso  
county first thing this morning together with Eastern and Western  Bluebirds.
