Greetings from windy Aurora. Today, while counting raptors at Cherry Creek State Park, Deb and I found an intrepid Say's Phoebe. These handsome little guys are among the earliest spring migrants, but this seems very early, so thought I'd pass it along. It was in a field along Cottonwood Creek, E. of Peoria St., north of Arapahoe Rd.
Also had W. Meadowlarks and RW Blackbirds in full song around the park. Spring has sprung...until winter returns!
