Do you have any 3-4 year olds who want to learn about nature? Animal life cycles was our focus today -- we counted eggs in an old bluebird box. We read the familiar "A Very Hungry Caterpillar." We dipped nets in the pond in case pollywogs had hatched. And we always follow animal tracks that the kids find. Of course, we had a snack. It's fun.
We'll continue this on Wednesday, March 16 and Saturday, March 26, both at 10-11 a.m. Go to the Denver Audubon website <www.denveraudubon.org>; to sign up for your kids, grandkids, or other 3-4 year-olds. (Right now, for the next Wednesday, it has the wrong March date).
