Hi All,

This morning there was a Northern Shrike in the draw below the Red Rocks Trading Post. No Rosy-Finches in sight.

As far as sparrows are concerned, the Zone quartet is still intact. In the half hour or so following 7:15 A.M., the White-throated Sparrow made an early appearance under the lower apple tree followed by the 1st year Harris's and 1st year White-crowned feeding next to each other under the platform feeder. The Golden-crowned was the last to arrive using the flat area between the platform feeder and the upper apple tree.

Also had one American tree Sparrow (first time I have seen it at the feeders), plus Song Sparrows, Spotted Towhees, and all the Junco sub- species including White-winged.

The Curve-billed Thrasher was a no-show for the 2nd day in a row. I last saw the Curve-billed on Sunday, March 6. Interested in knowing if anyone has seen the Curve-billed Thrasher in the last day or two - email me separately or post on CoBirds.
