On Lower Church Ranch Lake this later afternoon, right around sunset, in the howling gales, there were 2 Yellowlegs, looked like Lesser but I couldn;t hear them because of the wind. (I was also too chicken to get out and set up a scope because of the cold, wind, and blowing debris). There were many ducks, including a Pintail, Shovelers, Green Winged Teal, Gadwall, Widgeon, Mallards, and many Killdeer. This is a great spot, but there isn't much room to pull off, barely a little more than a car width. -Elena Klaver
