Saturday, March 26th Northwest Metro Lakes
Leader: Chuck Lowrie Contact Information: 303-455-8417
Time: 09:00 Meeting Place: Sloan's Lake parking area on the SE corner
of 25th and Sheridan. Full Day Trip. Bring Lunch. We’ll be looking for
Blue-winged and Cinnamon Teal, Say's Phoebe and Meadowlarks plus other early
migrants. There will be quite a bit of walking (up to 3 miles) as we will
visit lesser-known lakes. If there is a lot of snow, we'll go to lakes
that don't require walking or much walking and make it a shorter day. Please
PRE-REGISTER with Chuck. This trip is limited to 10 people. Sign up quick
to lock in your spot! About the leader: Chuck is the current president of
the Boulder Birding Club and has led combined DFO and BBC trips to the
western slope and North Park.

Sunday, March 27th Trinidad Area
Leader: Mark Peterson
Time: TBD Email: [email protected]
Meeting Location(s): TBD. Expect to carpool from Denver area and possibly
from Colorado Springs. More details will be given closer to the date.
Warmer weather birding in March! We’ll be birding Pinyon and riparian
habitats, looking for Pinyon birds and waterfowl. There will be extensive,
but
mostly easy walking (possibly up to 2 miles). Full day trip. Please email
Mark to register and to receive more information. It should be a fantastic
trip.
