On a visit to Garden of the Gods in El Paso Co today, one of the resident Prairie Falcons was sitting atop the rocks directly above the hole in the kissing camels structure. White-throated Swifts were abundant. Singing Townsend's Solitaires were abundant back on the Spring Canon trail. Bushtits were heard there also.
A search for the Northern Pygmy-Owl on Hwy 24 just west of Manitou Springs was fruitless. It was seen as recently as last week in the area. That is the 5th sighting in the last couple months along a stretch of about 400 yards.
