Yesterday while returning from Prowers County, my brother Bill and I decided to search for some Mountain Plovers in Lincoln Co. We found two pair in the overgrazed short grass prairie just south of J Rd about 200 yards east of where it ends at 17 RD. This is west of State Hwy 71. The two pair were only about 100 yards apart from each other and not more than 40 yards from the road.
