Sunday (before the big snow hit us again) there were 22 Sandhill Cranes near the Hayden Ranch/Moosehaven Condos, Highway 24 south of Leadville; other noteworthy county birds: Ferruginous Hawk and Spotted Towhee. Lots of Mt. Bluebirds and Robins back up as well.
