Katrina Stowasser and I went looking for rare gulls in Weld County today (4/7).
The first stop was Black Hollow where we refound that probable 1st year
Glaucous-winged Gull, 1st year Mew Gull, 2 adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls, and
1 1st year Thayer's Gull.
There were not any interesting gulls at Drake Lake and we were not able to
refind the Swamp Sparrow.
Our next stop was Windsor Lake where we just found and currently looking at a
1st year BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE flying around the middle of the lake.
