Around 5:00 p.m. today I say 6 very active Franklin's gulls flying
over the middle of Johnson Reservoir at Clement Park (southeast corner
of Wadsworth and Bowles). They were skimming right over the water,
wheeling around in large circles, and occasionally landing on the
water (hopefully snacking)!

First time I've seen and identified a black-headed gull at Clement
Park - very nice!

There was also a lone coot and the first 3 American pelicans of the
year for me.
