Hi All, Yesterday while searching RMNP for pygmy-owls, I found a male Williamson's Sapsucker. Also this morning while watching a different Northern Pygmy-Owl, I heard two more Williamson's Sapsucker.
So the spring birind is picking up slowly. Williamson's Sapsuckers usually arrive a bit earlier than the Red-napped Sapsuckers do.
