Today the CFO held it's spring board meeting at Fountain Valley School in El
Paso (and we would like to thank FVS for hosting).

>From 8 to 11 a group of us birded at Big Johnson and on the FVS campus.
>Highlights were single Snowy and Cattle Egrets, many American Avocets, an
>early Forster's Tern and five species of grebe.

Following the meeting, I continued on to Otero County where the wind force me
to bird out of my car window. Lake Holbrook had several Baird's Sandpipers on
the northeast shore. Cheraw had at least four Snowy Plovers, a pair of
Long-billed Curlews and a Willet.
