Birders,
I birded around several lakes and ponds around Boulder this morning. There were
147 FRANKLIN'S GULLS at Prince Lake #2. The immature ROSS'S GOOSE continues
near the north shore of Boulder Reservoir. Also on the north shore were 35
WHITE-FACED IBIS, 200+ FRANKLIN'S GULLS, 1 BONAPARTE'S GULL, and 5 AMERICAN
WHITE PELICANS. The male GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was foraging in the manure in the
farm lot across the street from the south shore entrance. There was a flock of
swallows foraging over Cottonwood Marsh that included 2 BANK, 3 VIOLET-GREEN, 5
BARN and 10 TREE SWALLOWS.
Good birding,
