My first yellowlegs of the season was a flyover of a Greater (it called)
near Canon City last week-end. Though most of the yellowlegs foraging in
the agricultural fields in Florence the past several days have been Greater
Yellowlegs-up to 8 or 9, I also had Lesser Yellowlegs. I got one photo that
does a reasonably good job of showing the differences in these very similar
appearing species and have uploaded it to my
BirdsAndNature<http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/>blog.

The Bald Eagle mom and nestlings in Iowa nest has had terrible winds
tonight, similar to those we have had here in Colorado (though they are 80
feet in the air, swaying in the tree tops). The streaming video that is
viewable on my blog certainly gives a birds-eye view of what it is like to
be a high in a tree during big winds.
