Hi all

For our "birdscapers" or native bird habitat gardeners niche
audience ...

Aside from our established bird habitat (details at end of message) we
just signed up with USDA to convert 3.1 acres (of our 35 acres) to
"pollinator" acres. Details about program can be found here:
http://www.fsa.usda.gov/Internet/FSA_File/native_pollinator.pdf

This program is designed to help sustain the "pollinator" population
and I am sure it will grow our bird diversity as well! :-) We're
currently at 95 species since 2002.

Current "birdscaping" habitat: 35 acres CRP property (old agricultural
fields being converted to native grasses). Fourteen feeders, cracked
corn, whole sunflower, sunflower chips, safflower, white proso millet,
nyger and two water sources. We've landscaped (bird-friendly) 12,000
sq ft within our fenced (snake-proof, yea, right!) backyard.

Hackberry - 3
Dwarf Rabbitbrush (Green/Blue) - 21
