While birding my way to work I saw a single Violet-green Swallow and a
couple of Barn Swallows (FOS). Also present was a Lincoln's Sparrow
hopping along a log in a boggy area feeding on insects it was finding
on some algae.

Last week there was a Red-tailed Hawk pair setting up a nest and I
believe that the female is a light morph with many characteristics
suggesting a Fuertes race. I will try and get some pictures.
