A *Great Egret* in the company of 3 Great Blue Herons at Crystal Lakes,
south of Leadville, was a new Lake County species. Not sure of this
species' status in CO generally, but there can't be many records at this
elevation.

Despite the snowy conditions, other spring migrants/FOS: 13 Sandhill
Cranes, 43 White-faced Ibis, 4 Lesser Yellowlegs, 1 Solitary Sandpiper,
Northern Harrier, White-crowned, Lincoln's, Brewer's, Chipping, Vesper, Song
Sparrows, Green-tailed Towhee, Western Meadowlark, Yellow-headed Blackbird.

Leadville yardbirds today included up to 5 *Black Rosy-Finches* along with a
few Gray-crowneds (1 Hepburn's type) among 30 or so Brown-cappeds.

Not a single warbler in evidence yet, not even Yellow-rumped.
