Windsor Lake in downtown Windsor (Weld County) was covered with birds again today, with large numbers of Common and Red-breasted Mergansers, Franklin’s and Bonaparte’s Gulls, Western and Horned Grebes, and several species of swallows. The immature Black-legged Kittiwake was still there, seen by myself and at least 8 other birders this afternoon.
