Birders while at Lee Martinez Park and the surrounding area today Michelle and I saw a couple of migrants. The best birds were another BROAD-WINGED HAWK light adult not sure if this is the same individual that I saw a couple of days ago and a GREEN HERON (streaking on its chest suggests a first summer adult).
Also of interest were; Yellow-rumped warbler both races 10+ Lincoln’s Sparrow Vesper Sparrow Chipping Sparrow 20+ Marsh Wren Red-tailed Hawk with a Rock Pigeon in its talons Wood Duck Blue-winged Teal Wilson’s Snipe Great Horned Owl heard a duet Spotted Towhee Mourning Dove Hairy Woodpecker Black-crowned Night-Heron Good day Rob Sparks Old Town Fort Collins -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
