My wife and I went to look for the Black-legged Kittiwake at Windsor Lake at 10:00 today. After about two hours of looking we didn't have any luck. I defenetly could have overlooked though, as there was tons of birds out there. We did get some lifers tough. Our trip included- Tons of Common Merganser's and Red-breasted Merganser's, 5 American Avocet's, a Forster's Tern, 4 Common Tern's, many American Coots, 50+ Franklin's Gulls,11 Bonapart's Gulls, some California and Ring-billed Gulls, 5 Double-creasted Cormorants, and lots of Eared and Western Grebes. Hopefully tomorrow I can spot the Kittiwake!
