On Saturday 4-23-11, we traveled down to Walsenburg to visit my wife's
parents. They live approx. 6 miles west of Walsenburg on Highway 160,
in the Navajo Ranch subdivision. They have five feeders spread out
around the house.
A very busy day at the feeders!

Bluebird, Western
Bushtit
Dove, Eurasian collared
Dove, Mourning
Finch, Cassin's
Finch, House
Goldfinch
Grackle, Common
Grosbeak, Evening - first sightings for my daughter and wife!
Heron, Great blue - fly over on it's way to Lathrop State park.
Junco, Dark eyed
Magpie
Nuthatch, White breasted
Sisken, Pine
Sparrow, Chipping
Sparrow, House
Sparrow, White crowned
Titmouse, Juniper
Vulture, Turkey

Didn't get a chance to go to Lathrop, but if we did, we probably would
have seen all the birds shown in Polly Neldner's cobird entry on
4-23-11.
