This morning I found a Yellow-throated Vireo in cottonwoods along the
eastern section of the Canon City riverwalk, a.k.a. the Brookside Jct Trail.
It was about 200 yds west of the 3/4 mile trail marker, where the river
makes a sharp bend. As best as I could tell with my limited hearing, it was
not singing.

Also seen here this morning was a very dingy looking White-throated
Sparrow (1st winter?) and a Peregrine Falcon which took an unsuccessful power
dive at a couple of startled teals on the river.

The warbler selection was limited to numerous Yellow-rumps. All three
Phoebe species were present this AM.
